TARTINA TWIST è un progetto che nasce dalla passione per l’artigianato, la moda, i costumi e la ricerca dei materiali.
Tutti i bottoni utilizzati per comporre le collane, gli orecchini e gli anelli vanno dagli anni ‘20 agli anni ’60 e sono recuperati nei mercatini d’antiquariato, in antiche mercerie o bottonifici artigianali. Spesso nascosti da altri oggetti, saltano all’occhio per la loro bellezza: sono veri e propri bottoni gioiello che un tempo facevano bella mostra di sé su cappotti sartoriali, vestiti, tailleurs o tessuti preziosi. Realizzati con vetro, metallo dorato, pietra, madreperla o smaltati, sono pezzi unici, resi tali dal tempo e dalla lavorazione artigianale. Tale manifattura ha reso diversi tra loro anche gli stessi tipi di bottone: lievi variazioni e singolarità che valorizzano il prodotto finale.
Ogni gioiello è composto e assemblato con estrema cura; i supporti sono artigianali e realizzati in Italia. Le componenti, le catene e le basi sono completamente anallergiche, in ottone o alluminio dorato.

TARTINA TWIST is a project born from passion for handicraft, style, costumes and search of materials. You will be brought in the fascinating world of vintage buttons of 1920s to 1960s.
All the buttons used for necklaces and rings have been recovered in markets, old haberdasheries and exclusive button factories. Especially among other things, these charming little objects always came out of their beauty: they are button-jewels, which you could admire some time ago on tailoring coats, dresses and fine clothes. They are created with glass, golden or enameled metal, and nacre. Every button, even the pearl ones with their iridescent look, is unique for his value either due to time or manufacturing, which can make sometimes the same kind of button slightly different one from another: subtle changes that increase the value of each piece.
Every jewel is created and put together with great care, components and materials are all Italian, in brass or aluminum enameled in gold, and completely hypoallergenic.
